About us

We believe

Our mission is to erase the stigma of mental health by encouraging communities to talk about it - to shatter the silence. The topic of mental health needs to be discussed and brought into the open.

Our goal is to help start conversations so that we are more aware of the traits and triggers and provide resources. Our next steps will be to help educate and take care of our first responders and their families, teachers, parents, seniors, and veterans. We will begin hosting conversations at libraries, churches, and community groups.

We started our Engage and Heal efforts by founding the Erik Hanson Scholarship in 2019. Erik was a highly accomplished 2017 Lake Travis graduate. He was Lake Travis Varsity Football player and Eagle Scout. He was a cadet in the Corps at Texas A&M. We raised over $10,000 in his honor and awarded three $2,000 scholarships to Lake Travis Football players who did not receive athletic and academic scholarships. In our 2nd year, we are going to be opening this opportunity to all athletes and club members at Lake Travis High School.
